Jude suffered a TBI while racing motocross right right outside of Dallas, Texas. Jesus and racing have always been his passions in life. He has undergone a surgery and he was in a coma for nearly a month, and has emerged since then. However, there is still so much work to be done and it will be a long road to recovery. The family is grateful for any support, but prayers are the most important, they know that all the praise belongs to God.

Jude traveled via Angel Flight from Texas to Atlanta, Georgia to start his rehablilitation process. So the family is experiencing financial strains. Jude will be learning how to walk, talk and eat again. He is truly a living miricle and the Smerlick Family is giving God all the Glory!
